The Final Battle Part 2: In the Realm of Chaos

I wanted the final adventure in the Ruin of Nimbar series to feature the 3 custom character builds for the Mage, Necromancer and Druid as well as the custom Chaos Legions featured in the previous adventures. The premise is a familiar dungeon-crawl but with fairly tough Monster battles. Also, I wanted the final battle against Zaldramas to feel like a 'Big Boss' arcade type battle. Hence the inclusion of the chambers from Ashardalon. The adventure is designed primarily as 3-player or even solo co-op but feel free to add in a fourth (or fifth) Hero of your choice.

When You Start the Adventure, Read:
"The Tyrannical Demon Lord Zaldramas, has retreated deep within his Chaos Realm where he plans his next attack on the many worlds of Faerun. Following the attack and siege of Nimbar, the Mage Scion Eladrion, together with the Druid Aldred and Necromancer Lolth have crossed over into the labyrinthine dungeons of Zaldramas with one intention: To rid the universe of the despotic demon once and for all!"

Goal: Find and destroy Zaldramas

Number of Heroes: 3.
Suggested Heroes: Eladrion (Mage Scion), Lolth (Necromancer), Aldred (Druid).
Hero additions: Each Hero starts the game with an additional treasure card.

Healing Surges: 5

Adventure Setup:
All the Wrath of Ashardalon Dungeon Tiles, Horrid and Dire Chamber Tiles (set aside). Set aside the following: Horrid Chamber Start & Entrance Tiles, Dire Chamber Start & Entrance Tiles. Remove the Ancient Battlefield and Secure Exit Tiles. Add the following 2 Tiles from Castle Ravenloft: Workshop Tile, Dark Fountain Tile. Place the Start Tile on your playing area.

Shuffle the 24 tile dungeon stack and split it into 2 separate stacks.

From the 1st stack remove the top 3 tiles and, without looking at any of the tiles, shuffle in the Horrid Chamber Entrance tile. Remove another 3 tiles from the stack and without looking at any of the tiles, shuffle in the Workshop tile. Place the first set of 4 shuffled tiles which includes the Horrid Chamber Entrance Tile at the bottom of your 1st stack. Place the second set of 4 shuffled tiles which includes the Workshop Tile after the 6th tile in your 1st stack.

From the 2nd stack remove the top 3 tiles and, without looking at any of the tiles, shuffle in the Dire Chamber Entrance tile. Remove another 3 tiles from the stack and without looking at any of the tiles, shuffle in the Dark Fountain tile. Place the first set of 4 shuffled tiles which includes the Dire Chamber Entrance Tile at the bottom of your 2nd stack. Place the second set of 4 shuffled tiles which includes the Dark Fountain Tile after the 6th tile in your stack.

Place the 1st stack on top of your second stack. Your 28 stack dungeon pile is now ready.

The booking sound of drums echoes all around as you approach the lair of the Demon Lord Zaldramas. A wicked and sly voice emerges from within the Chamber: "Welcome Heroes...to your Doom. I am Zaldramas, Lord of Chaos and Master of Darkness. You address omnipotence...tread carefully!".

When you reveal the Dire Chamber Entrance Tile, Do:
* Build the Dire Chamber as per the normal Wrath of Ashardalon rules (include the Chamber start tile).
* Place Zaldramas on the innermost tile of the Chamber. Zaldramas activates first at the start of the villain phase.
* Place 2 x Chaos hounds on the same tile as Zaldramas.
* Place 2 sets of 3x Chaos Imps on any of the remaining chamber tiles.
* Defeat Zaldramas.
* Defeat all the monsters within the Chamber.
* Heroes do not draw encounter cards inside of the Chamber.

When you defeat Zaldramas, Read:
The Chaos Lord is no more. Throughout the realms a new era is ushered in. One of peace and hope. In Nimbar, the nightingales have returned to the Vale, their beautiful song echoing throughout Astifoorn and washing away the vileness that had laid siege to the lands. But the landscape of the world is changed following the cataclysm rent by Zaldramas during the war. Now the Heroes gather in the City of Stars to pick up their lives anew. Tarak, Half-Orc and his Warsworn regiment tend to the defenses and rebuilding of the city and its perimeters. The Companions of the Hall depart for the Underdark and reclaiming the Drow City of Menzoberranzan. The Druid Aldred returns to his home deep within the forests of Dal Haleth. With him is Kat, the Rogue who had become his friend, companion and lover and seeks now a life of peace and solace. In the Tower, Eladrion forms anew the old Protectorate with Quinn, Heskan, Lolth  and Immeril taking up their new mantles as Mages. Bruenor and his Dwarf clans return to the mountains of Iron, deep within the lands of H'Garth where they continue with their Dwarven craftsmanship of mining and forging.
All is at peace. All is safe...
