Buckle up, get excited, and dive headfirst into this month's lineup of must-see movies that'll leave you craving more thrills.

Equalizer 3: The Final Chapter

(Friday 01 September)

Robert McCall finds himself at home in Southern Italy but he discovers his friends are under the control of local crime bosses. As events turn deadly, McCall knows what he has to do: become his friends' protector by taking on the mafia.

I'm a huge action movie junkie and my wife adores Denzel so this will definitely be on our watch list. The previous 2 Equalizer movies were riveting and as edge-of-your-seat action packed ride so I'm amped to see what's next for Robert McCall and his stop-watch beat-you-up style of fighting.

The Nun 2

(Friday 08 September)

1956 - France. A priest is murdered. An evil is spreading. The sequel to the worldwide smash hit follows Sister Irene as she once again comes face-to-face with Valak, the demon nun.

September is a real spooky line-up. First off we have the Nun 2 which will definitely appeal to fans of the horror genre. I like things ghostly, mostly - but prefer to watch from the comfort of my couch so I can duck under the covers if things get overly creepy!

A Haunting In Venice

(Friday 15 September)

In post-World War II Venice, Poirot, now retired and living in his own exile, reluctantly attends a seance. But when one of the guests is murdered, it is up to the former detective to once again uncover the killer.

From murders on the Orient Express to deaths on the Nile, it seems Poirot just can't catch a break. This time he is drawn into a creepy mystery in Venice. As my wife and girls are huge fans of the previous two movies, we will definitely be booking our seats to this spooky-whodunnit.

Talk To Me

(Friday 15 September)

When a group of friends discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand, they become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces.

Again, one for the horror enthusiasts with a sort-of 'Idle Hands' type flair.

Expend4bles

(Friday 22 September)

The Expendables will square up against: an arms dealer who commands the might of a massive private army.

Does this even need a synopsis or plot? It's normally just 'let's blow shit up and make a ton of noise'. For adrenaline junkies and fans of old-school action veterans.

The Creator

(Friday 29 September)

Amid a future war between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence, Joshua, a hardened ex-special forces agent grieving the disappearance of his wife, is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, the elusive architect of advanced AI who has developed a mysterious weapon with the power to end the war-and mankind itself.

Okay this one definitely has piqued my interest. It's directed by Gareth Edwards who brought us the spectacular Rogue One. The plot is centered around AI which is very, very now and relevant and the trailer looks amazing visually. Very Skynet meets Children of Men meets humans VS machine type of vibes going. Definitely a must-see.

The Dive

(Friday 29 September)

Two sisters go diving at a beautiful, remote location. One of the sisters is struck by a rock, leaving her trapped 28 meters below. With dangerously low levels of oxygen and cold temperatures, it is up to her sister to fight for her life.

Edge of your seat thriller that will have you gasping for air. For the survivalists and fans of underwater suspense.

Saw X

(Friday 29 September)

Chasing a promising procedure that would allegedly cure his cancer, John Kramer heads towards Mexico to go through an experimental treatment, only to find out he was prey for a scam. Now, the scammers becomes the prey on Jigsaw's new game.

Last but not least, another Saw movie. I'm not a fan but apparently this franchise's popularity has grown over the years. So, for fans of gruesome sadistic torture methods, this one's for you.
